Just outside of the town of Soda Springs, Idaho is this: a spring. It's carbonated. It tastes like rust. But that didn't stop entrepreneurs from bottling and selling the water in the late 1800s, presumably because anything that tastes that bad must have health benefits.
Today you can go to Hooper Springs Park and enjoy the water for free. If you don't want to make the trip, you can just drink club soda from a rusty bucket.
But I'd recommend the first-person experience. The park was a great place for a picnic, and the drive over Tin Cup Pass was stunning. I'll try for a better photo of that next year.
